    QA Field Auditor

     

    The position will work conducting AQL Audits verifying product quality before product is released into inventory for both our Internal and External customers. Position will be located in Seattle but will need to travel to other local and distant locations.

    Responsibilities

    • Review incoming product verifying correctness by comparing to specifications and or sample product according to AQL Audit Standards.
    • Measure product to compare against measurement specification.
    • Verify correctness of construction & packaging
    • Keep and maintain audit details in our database
    • Communicate with Quality Manager about quality issues
    • Interpret and understand AQL Audit Tables

    Qualifications

    • Experience in luggage/garment manufacturing or inspection.
    • Detail oriented
    • Ability to follow instructions
    • Ability to communicate and understand English
    • Safety oriented
    • Team player
    • Willingness and able to learn new things
    • Self-motivatedBasic math skills
    • Ability to read a tape measure
    • Ability to read and understand product specification packet
    • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing needs of the department
    • Demonstrate the ability to work alone and within a group setting, with high attention to details
    • Willing to travel out of state and in state
    • Strong computer skills
    • High School Diploma

     

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:

     

    • Regularly to stand and walk around for 8-hour shifts
    • Use hands and fingers to work use computer, pack and unpack product.
    • Reach up, across, or down to retrieve products and supplies
    • See, talk, and hear. 
    • Ability to stand and walk all day long.
    • Occasionally required to move or lift up to 40 pounds
    • Carry products throughout facility to workspace

     

    Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to view small details within 2 feet to inspect quality of products and must be able to distinguish shade and color variation.
