    Industrial Engineer
    The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for supporting both the raw material and finished goods distribution center in delivering its goals against cost, quality, and service.



    • Develops manufacturing methods & labor standards to ensure efficient staff and facility utilization
    • Applies statistical and mathematical analysis of current operation to optimize work flow, labor and facility utilization
    • Develops plan and achieves on going cost savings via improved methods to increase output, lower labor costs and / or optimize system capabilities
    • Designs and adapts layout of product storage, equipment, materials and workspace to achieve maximum efficiency and to lower costs
    • Partners with our IT developers to gain deep knowledge of our WMS to optimize reporting and analyses
    • Utilizes both historical actual data and forecasting to promote changes to improve service metrics and / or reduce cost
    • Documents SOPs of all operations / functions within the warehouse
    • Creates and maintains status updates of velocity reports
    • Suggests optimal staging & storage locations for all products based on velocity reporting
    • Provides and manages WMS reports & analysis by function to evaluate output versus standards
    • Develops, writes and assists management in training staff in correct operational methods
    • Define and document work methods and “best warehouse practices”, as well as ensuring these are followed routinely
    • Research new equipment for labor savings and lead time reductions
    • Partner with management and other functional departments to maintain consistency in work flow and uninterrupted service to the all channels.
    • Ability to critique, adjust and evaluate concepts from a performance, service, and functional perspective
    • Perform other jobs as requested


    • BS with a focus in Industrial Engineering, Distribution, Manufacturing or related field
    • 3-5+ years of distribution or warehouse engineering experience
    • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, managing multiple projects within deadlines.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent computer skills, Excel, Word.
    • Detail focused with a customer service attitude.
    • WMS experience (Microsoft AX preferred)
    • Project management and warehouse layout experience
