The Receptionist is a key role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our clients, employees and executives while also assisting with daily administrative tasks. This is an opportunity to utilize your exceptional customer service, strong organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills while handling administrative tasks as assigned.


Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, as well as additional clerical duties.



  • Open and close lobby making sure it is clean and organized.  Ensure phone lines are open during office hours.
  • Greet all employees and visitors in a friendly, warm, professional and courteous manner.   
  • Welcome on-site visitors and determine the nature of their visit and announce them to the appropriate person.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and courteously. Determine caller’s need and transfer to appropriate person or department.  Difficult calls must be handled professionally and with tact.
  • Respond to special requests from corporate employees regarding special visitor instructions in a timely manner.

Office Support

  • Sort incoming mail for corporate office employees.
  • Prepare outgoing mail and packages using various courier services.
  • Stock and organize the copy and supply rooms.
  • Assist employees with catering deliveries.
  • Coordinate and assist when large groups come to visit and contacting escorts.
  • Assist departments with special projects and requests as needed.
  • Daily assessment of tasks and communicate progress of workload with supervisor.



Minimum Job Qualifications:                 

  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to multi-task while exemplifying a professional, friendly and collaborative attitude in a busy and demanding corporate environment.   
  • Ability to write concise correspondence and effectively communicate verbally with all levels of management.
  • Talking in person and on the phone using a clear and audible speaking voice.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interrelate with management and employees.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook e-mail and calendar.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills with ability to take initiative to introduce new processes and ideas
  • Successful candidate must be able to follow through and complete tasks on schedule and able to work with minimum supervision or direction.
  • Create a teamwork environment by collaborating and communicating with Facilities and HR team members.


  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Some College preferred (but not required).


  • Minimum 3-year related reception, call center or administrative support experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to sit and work at desk and operate a computer for several hours at a time
  • Able to lift 35 pounds
