Sales Support Representative (Wholesale)

 

The Sales Support Representative will report to the Wholesale Service Supervisor and will be an integral part of the team at Filson. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service managing inbound dealer contacts with professionalism and ease.  As the inside face of Filson you will ensure each wholesale dealer interaction exceeds customer expectations through the use of active listening, skilled service resolution, and attention to detail.  Strong communications skills are a must, as is the ability to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Field inbound calls from dealers and sales reps via telephone, e-mail, EDI and process associated work.
  • Input dealer orders and respond to inquiries as requested by internal contacts and sales reps.
  • Resolve dealer service-related requests and/or tasks as assigned by supervisors, which include: returns, pre-season and “major’ Dealer order entry, order and invoice proofing, return label generating, credit card processing, drop ship order entry, and customer correspondence
  • Participate in ongoing training, process improvement discussions and meetings as requested by supervisors.
  • Provide coaching and support to peers as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service work, inside sales or wholesale support work, call center or contact center work
  • High school diploma and some college education or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working on computers; preference for those with Windows experience.
  • Skills in problem-solving, written and verbal communication.
  • Fluency in writing and speaking the English language.
  • Stable work history and longevity in jobs.
